Samsung announces OmniaHD, mobile phone to record 720p video first in the world. Specifications include 8 megapixel camera and 3.7-inch AMOLED display. 720p is the shorthand name for HDTV video mode. Number 720 stands for 720 horizontal scan lines resolution screen (720 pixels of vertical resolution), while the letter p stands for progressive scan or non-interlaced. Key features include 3.2 "WQVGA TFT LCD (240 x 400) display, HSDPA (7.2 Mbps), EDGE / GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 networks, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, 5 Megapixel CMOS, Auto Focus, Image stabilizer, Geo-tagging, Auto-Panorama Shot camera.
