Samsung announces OmniaHD, mobile phone to record 720p video first in the world. Specifications include 8 megapixel camera and 3.7-inch AMOLED display. 720p is the shorthand name for HDTV video mode. Number 720 stands for 720 horizontal scan lines resolution screen (720 pixels of vertical resolution), while the letter p stands for progressive scan or non-interlaced.
